Ramayan Kathputli: This play, directed by Devilal Samar, from Udaipur was a collection of stories based on the epic Ramayan- beginning with Lord Ram’s wedding with Sita to Lakshman rejecting Soorpnakha’s love proposal and chopping off her nose in anger. (Sammukh: 3:30 P.M.)
Gadhagi Loushing: This Manipuri play by Ningombam Jadumani Singh was about deforestation. Ages ago, in an old forest, all the animals lived happily together. Then humans started cutting down the trees in the forest to satisfy their needs and desires. Then the play talked about how badly it had impacted the animal kingdom. (Abhimanch 7:00 pm)
