Ukhaanu:This multilingual play, directed by Arpita Dhagat, from Ahmedabad started off with the characters of the story book called Alice in Wonderland sleeping in a completely empty white space. Alice suddenly gets up in her sleep – a dream – an imagination. She starts drawing a defining line around these characters. As she draws this line, they slowly start waking up. (Sammukh: 3:30 P.M.)
Stepping Stones: :It was a lyrical, funny and at the same time highly moving play in English and Hindi.Directed byShena Gamat, the play wasfor little people and their families and friends. The story narrated the tale of Cynth, a young girl, who goes from high noon hilltop heat haze to a snow-bound moonlit beach on a journey to find the fallen star for her mum. (LTG: 5:30 P.M.)
Hoi Boi Choi:This Bengali play by Arghya Dey Sarkar showed howan old book-worm lives a solitary life in a dusty book-rack. A sympathetic spider invited other book-worms to the rack so that the old book-worm can live a healthy community life. The old one got overjoyed at this. (Abhimanch 7:00 pm)
