Burkina Faso’s President, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, flew to New Delhi recently to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to strengthen economic ties between the two countries and to participate in the first Summit of the International Solar Alliance (ASI), a coalition that works to promote solar energy in developing countries. President Kabore also met up with some key Indian businessmen, most notable being leading entrepreneur & social reformist Dr Raju Chadha. Both bonded very well and discussed a wide array of subjects and investment opportunities across diverse fields & the long meeting ended with the President extending an invitation to Dr Raju Chadha to visit the capital city of Ouagadougou, which he graciously accepted.
