In early December we will see the launch of Est. Formin Mumbai.Est Form is a fashion x art collaboration between artist Oona D'mello (pictured above) and the fashion label House of SÅhn. The duo will be launching with a series of art installations, wearable art as well as select works from the House of SÅhn collection at a pre-launch event Fashion for Brunch at Soho House, Mumbai, on the 7th December. This will preceed the full launch and one-day exhibition at The Stands, formerly Bungalow 8, Mumbai, on the 14th of December.
We have also recently started working with Gallery Ark(pictured above), ayoung contemporary art gallery from Vadodara who have an exciting upcoming programme. The gallery is built as an institution that promotes contemporary art, nurtures young artists and grows access to the arts for a wider audience. The gallery focuses on established artists such as Waswo x Waswo and Joyti Bhatt whilst also expanding to showcase younger artists and graduates from MSU. The gallery has two upcoming shows: a ceramics show, Elements in Mythology from 14 December to 18th January 2020 and a solo show by Alexander Gorlinzki, Otherworldly Interiors from 8 February - 7 March 2020.
On a more ongoing basis Stone Oasis (pictured above), have designed and installed four 12m (41ft) high monumental pillars for a project commissioned by IIT Ropar. The project, supported by the Archeological Survey of India, serves as homage to the intellectual progress and excellence achieved in the land of Rupnagar, which houses the new IIT campus and stands over the roots of the great Indus Valley Civilization. The project was undertaken with the help of their in-house team of researchers, craftsmen and art historians.
Alongside the above projects other clients which might be of interest include the auction house Prinseps who recently hosted their first live sale, Serendipity Arts Festivalwhowill launch their 4th edition in Goa from 15 December - 22nd December, the JCB Literature Prize and the launch of a new online arts platform, Master Art India.
